It is with a heavy heart that we announce, that the 2023 Tour De Maccabi is postponed until futher notice. The current funding environment and the lackluster interest from large Maccabi delegations will not make it viable to hold this year’s Tour De Maccabi.

RIDING.FROM POLAND TO HUNGARY
THE WORLD'S LARGEST JEWISH CYCLING EVENT
Under the umbrella of Maccabi Europe the first Tour De Maccabi will take amateur and professional Jewish cyclists from Krakow, Poland to Budapest, Hungary. In what’s shaping up to be the world’s largest Jewish cycling event,  you’ll have chance to cycle through  breathtaking Eastern European country roads, experience charming medieval hamlets and enchanted forests. Spend 10 days with members of the tribe from all over the world. Go for the gold in our competition section or just come for the thrill and adventure.

Ride with the peloton across the heart of Jewish Eastern Europe. Riders complete 60-70 kms each day which leaves time for visiting historical Jewish sights along the way, such as ghetto of Krakow, Jewish museum of Slovakia, hassidic pilgrimage sight of  Eastern Hungary as well as abandoned and forgotten cemeteries off the beaten path. The 10 days Jewish cycling race and tour will have its grand finish in front of Europe’s largest synagogue on Dohany Street in Budapest.

CLASSIC CYCLE RACING

All daily stages will ride on closed paved roads. Participants are timed for their speed. All types of road bikes are allowed.

GRAVEL BIKE- COMPETITIVE

GRAVEL & ROAD RACING

All daily stages will take place on paved and unpaved roads. Every daily section will feature some gravel, forest road. All gravel bikes are allowed.

E-BIKE - COMPETITIVE

ELECTRONIC BIKE RACING

All daily stages for this category will travel on paved and unpaved roads. Pedelecs producing less than 750W are allowed. Motor must engage with pedaling.

PARACYCLING - COMPETITIVE

ROAD PARACYCLING

All daily stages for this category will travel on paved roads for athletes with disabilities. All types of adaptive bicycles are allowed

WE CARRY YOUR STUFF. SO YOU DON'T HAVE TO.

Each participant gets a standard size plastic container for personal belongings. Your items are carried from start to finish each day for 10 days. We’ll also have rescue trucks to carry your broken bikes. We’ll also have the help of tour buses to carry riders who can’t complete a daily stage on their own wheels. We’ll have a full medical team traveling with the tour. Please note, that individual teams or may enter their own support, management and medical teams.
